Grassington House is a friendly place. We provide home cooked food and a variety of activities to stimulate minds and keep bodies active. Every week we visit town for whatever it is our residents would like to do; whether it be shopping, perusing the local market, going for a coffee or even a swift half!

Our small and friendly team of care staff are more like our extended family at Grassington House. We and the residents here really get to know the staff. Our staff are trained regularly to ensure they have the knowledge, skills and information to work with residents and visitors alike.
All staff are trained not just to the Regulatory standards but also actively take part in regular training on a variety of other subjects to meet the current specific care needs of the residents we care for.We also work closely with our carers to identify specific areas of care they have a passion for and help them train, develop and become champions in these areas.

Step foot inside our residential care home and you will see that we care for much more than people's needs. We care about creating a home for our residents to enjoy. All 13 bedrooms at Grassington House are provided with either en-suite WC's or easily accessible WC facilities. The rooms are situated across three floors.

Hi, I'm Megan Read; Proprietor, Managing Director and Registered Manager of Grassington House. Our staff are now able to record care records on the go, in the company of the residents. The quality of the records are now outstanding meaning more effective care can be communicated and given. Nourish is the system we use to record all of our care notes, assessments and care plans.
