Just a flying first visit to pick up a few items for a gift we make up for a relative. Nice place, well stocked and very friendly staff. We'll certainly call in again and have a better look around

Love this place but wait times are shocking. Just ordered 2 sandwiches and chilli from the takeaway cafe and had to stand waiting for half an hour for it. This place would be fantastic if they had more staff and told people how long the wait times are. Really disappointed

I saw some Ox Tongue in the Farm Shop which I wanted pickled so I could put some pressed Ox Tongue in the freezer for Boxing Day. The very friendly Butchery kindly spent ten days salting it for me at no extra charge. I used Delia's online recipe and after a nice outing for my ancient meat press I have a perfect pressed tongue in the freezer. Great produce and service. Thank you.

Good coffee, great cakes and friendly people. I wanted to buy rosemary from the store but they had sold out. One of the staff saw me looking a bit lost and asked if she could help... I told her I needed some rosemary and she went to cut some from the gardens and brought it in to me. And didn't charge for it!
