Take one of the many boat trips and pleasure cruises we regularly run from the town's bustling quayside. We are regular visitors to Poole and Brownsea Island but we'd never been on a boat tour.

Wareham River Cruise

This is a special cruise which can be taken throughout the year to the Saxon town of Wareham. It takes approximately an hour and ten minutes to travel from busy Poole Quay, along the Frome river until you reach Wareham, where you can enjoy the specialty shops, boutiques, art galleries, bistros and pubs.

To compliment our hugely popular winter bird boat trips, we thought we'd offer a slightly warmer option and create a NEW Spring tour for you to relax and enjoy. It's not just the birds we'll be focusing on, but also the wonderfully rich and scenic setting of the Wareham Channel and Frome Valley which at dawn lights up and plays host to numerous bird species as they prepare for the breeding season ahead.

This unique campsite is nestled on the south side of Brownsea Island overlooking the rolling Purbeck hills and is easily accessed by using a variety of pathways across the island. Your efforts will be rewarded by breathtaking views and a possible red squirrel sighting. You will find showers, toilets and drinking water but no food shopping facilities are available.
