Our current showrooms are located close to the City of London and are well served by public transport. We display our wooden beds in various sizes and finishes, and the full range of mattresses for customers to sample. Other local attractions include Columbia and Broadway Markets and the Geffrye Museum's famous domestic furniture exhibitions.
We moved to Shoreditch in the mid 1980's when the area was very run down, but was still the heart of London's historic and once flourishing furniture making industry. For nearly two centuries hundreds of Shoreditch's back street (sweatshops?) and factories had supplied some of the world's most prestigious furniture stores.

Our bed slats are made from substantial 'flooring grade' timber - as against the more common and far cheaper 'sprung' slats which break easily and are difficult to replace. Designed to last, their bolted construction allows them to be dismantled and rebuilt time and again without weakening. A strong centre beam and virtually unbreakable slats provide the ideal support for a mattress.

Slimmer mattresses of equal quality (approximately 2 or 5 cm less deep) are available for 10% extra. Our first mattress has remained virtually unchanged since 1979, and is constantly re ordered.
Our craftsman made, natural filled mattresses remain popular because they 'breathe' and are vastly superior to the mass produced, synthetic mattresses found on every High Street - for example the current rage - the all singing, all plastic, heat reflecting 'mattress-in-a-box'.We produce three grades with equal care.
