What equipment do you use?
Our studio features Slate Raven MTi2, Pro Tools 11, Logic Pro X, and microphones from Neumann, AKG and Slate.
How can I book a session?

What preparation is needed?
Prepare your beat with trackout stems if possible, rehearse thoroughly, and arrive on time for your booked session.

Our band, Civil War Ghost, did a drum session here only a few days ago. I have say I'm honestly blown away. Sam, who runs the place (presumably) by himself, is an absolute pro who knows his gear, more importantly how to use it, and is so easy to get along with. We initially picked the place as it was a small, heavily deadened space that was ideal for recording drums. What surpassed all our expectations was Sam's vast array of knowledge, professionalism and patience. He got the sound of the drums so on point that we're likely to not even touch them that much, come mixing time! Such a great place

We've just recorded our 2nd album here and couldn't be happier with our time at Free House! Sam is a fantastic engineer with a very relaxed demanour whilst being 100% on it, dedicated and with great interaction. Couldn't reccommend Free House more highly :)

Great! I Had a really good recording session I was really nervous someone hearing me sing again after years of not performing. Sam put me at ease and he knows his stuff I’m really happy with the covers I recorded and will definitely be returning!
