Bedfordshire Golf Club's two golf courses are open and visitors are welcome, although visitors may only play after 12.00pm on our 18 hole Stagsden Course. Advanced tee reservations for visitors are necessary for play on either course. Combining 130 years of golfing history with excellent new facilities, Bedfordshire Golf Club is a great place to play golf, whether you're an experienced player, or just starting out.

About Us
Report
Bedfordshire Golf Club, having been established in 1891 as the oldest club in the county, has a very long and proud golfing tradition. Based at our previous site in Biddenham for over 100 years, we purchased freehold land in Stagsden in 1999 and developed our magnificent new golf courses and associated facilities for members, guests and visitors.
Club History
Report
In 1891, Guy Pym and others founded the Club and golf was played on fields adjoining Brickhill farm about a mile from the centre of Bedford. The initial entrance fee was half a crown, the annual fee half a guinea and membership limited to 150. Demand was such that by the following year, the entrance fee had been increased to 1 and the annual subscription was also 1.
Join The Club
Report
Bedfordshire Golf Club welcomes new members, offering a wide variety of membership options ranging from full 7 day adult membership which incorporates all our golfing and non-golfing facilities, to junior Par 3 course membership and even social membership. This ensures that everyone is provided with a package to suit them and that they receive the greatest benefit from their annual subscriptions based their own requirements.
Clubhouse Facilities
Report
Our clubhouse, which was purpose built in 2000, was designed to host numerous simultaneous activities in three main function rooms. It has also recently been completely refurbished to a more modern design to make your stay even more pleasant experience. The main lounge, bar and dining room provide access to our large first floor balcony offering excellent views over North Bedfordshire countryside and some of the best sunsets anywhere!
Team Profiles
Report
Course Manager John Gubb has just reached a major milestone at Bedfordshire Golf Club. Joining the Club as Deputy Manager of the Greens' Team, he and his colleagues were initially dividing their time between maintaining the old course at Biddenham, whilst preparing the new course at Stagsden for its launch six months later.
