Services
Will Writing
Our expert will-writing service ensures your assets are distributed according to your wishes while minimising inheritance tax liabilities. We create legally binding documents tailored to complex family structures, business ownership, and property arrangements. Clients receive clear guidance on updating wills to reflect life changes like marriage or parenthood.
Probate Services
We provide compassionate probate assistance for executors managing estates, whether with or without a will. Our services include asset valuation, debt settlement, tax calculations, and distribution guidance. With 15+ years' experience, we simplify complex legal processes during difficult times through transparent hourly-rate billing.
Lasting Power of Attorney
We help clients establish property/financial and health/welfare LPAs to appoint trusted decision-makers. Our consultants explain registration requirements with the Office of Public Guardian and structure documents to balance flexibility with legal protection for vulnerable clients.
Property Protection Trusts
Our trusts protect property from sideways disinheritance, care fees, and probate delays. We advise on tenants-in-common arrangements and discretionary trusts that maintain beneficiaries' inheritance rights while allowing surviving partners to remain in shared homes.
Client Care Package
This package includes secure fireproof document storage, annual will reviews, and executor helpline support. Clients receive free updates to maintain legal relevance amid changing circumstances or legislation, with guaranteed fixed pricing and 48-hour document access.
Questions
Why do I need a will if I'm married?
Marriage invalidates existing wills, and intestacy rules may not reflect your wishes. We ensure your assets pass to intended beneficiaries while considering tax implications.
How does probate work without a will?
Dying intestate means estates follow strict legal distribution rules. Our probate team guides executors through court requirements and asset distribution according to statutory guidelines.
Can I create a will during lockdown?
Yes, we offer remote consultations via Zoom or telephone, with socially distanced document signing options at our Norwich office.
What's included in the Client Care Package?
Secure document storage, annual will reviews, executor helpline support, and free updates ensure your estate plan remains current and accessible.
How do property protection trusts work?
These trusts protect your property share from care fees and sideways disinheritance while allowing surviving partners to remain in shared homes until their passing.

I've used Heritage Will writers now for six years and the experience has been good,
their prices are reasonable and they have always been courteous and prompt in dealing with my needs. For those who have found that dealing with solicitors has been frustrating, drawn out and expensive then this is a good alternative.

Completely recommend Heritage for ensuring what I anticipated would be a massively complicated process, was actually in reality a really straightforward one! One hour, via FaceTime, was all it took to run through exactly what we wanted. A couple of weeks later and the will is approved, signed & ready to send back. Excellent service; well explained and we felt reassured at all times with the advice and guidance we were given. Thankyou!
