MOT Testing
We conduct MOT testing for Class III, IV, and VII vehicles, including 3-wheelers, cars, and light goods vehicles. Our facility accommodates large motorhomes up to double-decker bus size. Tests are performed using advanced equipment, with appointments available for diesel and catalyst petrol engines.
HGV & PSV Testing
As a DVSA-approved ATF, we test rigid HGVs up to 24 tonnes and PSVs with petrol engines. Our services include brake testing using a Tapley Meter for vehicles unsuitable for roller testers. We cater to police, specialist clubs, and commercial fleets within our specified weight and wheelbase limits.
Vehicle Recovery
Our 24-hour recovery service covers M40 Junction 15, M42 North/South, and a 20-mile radius of Henley-in-Arden. We assist with vehicle transport, breakdowns, and accident recovery, supporting both private and commercial clients across the region.
Self-Drive Hire
We offer daily or long-term hire of self-drive vehicles, including Toyota Aygos, Ford Mondeos, and commercial vans like Citroen Berlingos and Ford Transits. All vehicles are low-mileage and diesel-powered, with dropside/Luton vans available for house moves.
Film/TV Vehicle Hire

Are you open on weekends?
We are open Monday-Friday 8:00-17:30 and Saturday 9:00-13:00. We are closed on Sundays.

Having used Mayswood most recently for an MOT and service, I was very pleased with the advice given and the work undertaken, with quality parts used.
Earlier in the year I also used Mayswood to hire a vehicle, of which a number of options were available; all of which were more competitively priced than other hire companies.

Fantastic. Got a quote from a well known car hire company for 73 for the day. Got in contact with Mayswood and they sorted me a nice little Toyota for 24. Would recommend them to everyone
