Electrical Testing
We conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) to assess fixed wiring safety in residential and commercial properties. Our NICEIC-certified engineers identify faults, issue compliance certificates, and provide remedial work quotes. This service ensures electrical systems meet UK regulations and remain safe for occupants, particularly important for landlords and property transactions.
EV Charging Points
Our OZEV-approved team installs domestic and commercial electric vehicle charging stations, including tethered/untethered units with smart connectivity. We handle electrical upgrades, grid connections, and compliance certifications. Businesses benefit from Workplace Charging Scheme grants covering up to 75% of costs, while homeowners receive tailored solutions for single or three-phase power requirements.
Solar PV Systems
We design and install MCS-certified solar photovoltaic systems for homes and businesses, with options for 3.6-4kWp setups starting at 4,000. Our services include roof assessments, grid connection, and integration with battery storage. Clients receive energy production estimates and guidance on Smart Export Guarantee payments for surplus electricity fed back to the national grid.
Emergency Repairs
Available 24 hours a day, our rapid-response team addresses critical electrical faults including tripped circuits, failed EV chargers, and shower/heater malfunctions. We prioritise safety by isolating hazards before repairs, with same-day service guarantees for urgent domestic issues like loss of power or water heating systems.
Tesla Powerwall
As Tesla-certified installers, we integrate Powerwall 3 systems with existing solar arrays or new installations. These 13.5kWh storage units provide 11.04kW backup power during outages and optimise self-consumption of solar energy. Our process includes system design, grid compatibility checks, and Tesla app integration for real-time energy monitoring and load management.

John helped sort out the mess created by some cowboys who did work on my Father's roof. He was really helpful and responsive and has helped to resolve all the issues that were created. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience - highly recommended! Carter Electrical were brilliant from beginning to end. Martin was quick to come and assess the job, the quote was accurate (with no additional charges) and the install was wonderfully neat. Martin took the time to fully understand the oddities of the Tesla Wall Connector and worked with Tesla and me to ensure he was able to fully test and sign-off on the unit.
Martin and his colleague both followed Covid-19 social distancing guidelines in full and wore masks when in our property. Highly recommended. Will use again in the future.

A simple job on paper, installation of extra sockets in garage, but carried out in my view to the highest standards. From initial contact to job completion professional all the way. I wish I had used them years ago. Fair price, excellent standard of work and friendly comms. I dont give 5 stars lightly but on this experience its deserved.
