Appointments and Services
Report
The telephone number for appointments is - 01905 622900. Please try to telephone for an appointment before 10.00am, especially if you need to be seen the same day. Emergency appointments can be arranged at short notice in cases of true need, but please telephone beforehand rather than arriving at the surgery unannounced.
Appointments
Report
Same day appointments are for patients who are acutely unwell and require medical attention the same day. We respectfully ask that patients carefully consider their symptoms when requesting one of these appointments and consider "do I need to see a doctor with this?" so we have enough appointments for patients who are acutely unwell and need to see a doctor the same day.
Been Off Work
Report
You do not require a doctor's sickness certificate for any illness lasting seven days or less. If you are sick for more than seven days, your employer can ask you to give them some form of medical evidence to support payment of SSP (statutory sick pay). It is up to your employer to decide whether you are incapable of work.
