Recording Studio
Our flagship Neve-equipped facility offers hybrid analogue/digital recording with 48 inputs. Featuring vintage microphones, SSL outboard gear, and 24-track tape capabilities, this space caters to album production and single recordings. Engineers have access to both modern DAW systems and classic signal chains for authentic sound creation.
Rehearsal Suites
Five professionally equipped spaces featuring Natal drum kits, Marshall amplifiers, and Soundcraft mixers. All ground-floor access with loading bay facilities. Standard rooms at 15/hour and premium Live Room at 20/hour include PA systems and backline equipment for band practice and performance preparation.
Music Production
Full-service music production from composition to final mix. Our team specialises in hybrid workflow production using Neve consoles alongside digital tools. Services include arrangement, programming, and production consultation for artists seeking professional-grade recordings with creative guidance.
Mixing & Mastering
Analogue and digital mixing services using premium outboard gear. Engineers apply final polish through equalisation, compression, and spatial processing. Mastering optimises tracks for commercial release using industry-standard monitoring systems and acoustic treatment to ensure cross-format audio consistency.
Vocal Editing
Comprehensive vocal production including tuning, comping, and effects processing. Our facilities feature dedicated vocal booths with Neumann U87 microphones. Engineers apply corrective and creative processing to achieve broadcast-quality vocal tracks while preserving artistic integrity.

Established Rock Hard Studios in 2007 after 15 years in professional audio engineering. Specialises in hybrid analogue/digital signal paths and studio acoustics. Holds technical expertise in Neve console operation and vintage microphone applications.

What recording equipment do you have available?
We feature an AMS Neve Genesys Black G48 console, 24-track analogue tape, SSL and Universal Audio outboard gear, plus a microphone locker containing Neumann U47s and Royer Ribbons.
Are rehearsal spaces available outside standard hours?
Standard booking hours are 5pm-11pm Monday-Thursday, with daytime slots available from 11am subject to availability. Contact us for specific scheduling requests.
Do you offer music production assistance?
Our in-house team provides production support covering arrangement, programming, and technical guidance. We collaborate with Star Stuff Music production team for additional creative input.
What rehearsal packages are available?
We offer hourly bookings for Standard Rooms (£15/hour) and Live Room (£20/hour). Packages include backline equipment hire with optional add-ons like engineer support and recording facilities.
Is accommodation available for out-of-town clients?
While we don't provide accommodation, our central Blackpool location offers easy access to local hotels and transport links. We can recommend nearby lodging options upon request.

Went in Today to do a drum and vocal recording. The service was amazing, the team met me and made sure everything was talking and working before leaving us to it. The drum room was so well mic’d and set up it was just ready to record! And the equipment was second to none! Will definitely be bringing clients again! Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Great set up. We turned up with guitars and all other equipment is provided. drums can also be hired. We paid 60 quid for a room from 6 till 10 with half of that cost being the cost of drum and cymbal hire.Really impressed and will use again.

Good quality equipment. Natal Drum kit with Evans heads was like new. Room was a little bit on the small side and there was some noise pollution from the band next door but it was fairly well controlled. Friendly staff on hand.
