Prideaux Lodge is a care home for older people, including those with early stages of Dementia. Our aim is to create and maintain a secure, relaxed, happy and homely environment. Our team of caring staff support physical, emotional and social needs. Companionship, independence, privacy and dignity are always our top priorities. We have suitably trained and qualified staff on duty 24 hours a day including waking night staff.

Prideaux Lodge is a large, detached Edwardian house situated in Little Common, within close proximity to the town centre and seafront. Accommodation at Prideaux Lodge consists of 16 single rooms with various en-suite facilities. A wet room/assisted bathroom is located on each floor. Each room is decorated and furnished to a high standard including a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and armchair.
Day Care

As well as residential care, Prideaux Lodge also provides Day Care. We have a large, spacious rear lounge which has been refurbished to include comfortable areas for recreational activities with access onto our lovely garden. Our Day Care Services include refreshments, lunch and all in-house activities.
Our Activities
Report
At Prideaux Lodge we actively encourage our residents to participate in social activities. Our staff organise daily in-house activities which are aimed to stimulate residents both physically and mentally. We also use external motivational therapists, musicians and entertainers to provide a range of activities to help motivate, stimulate and encourage physical, mental and social interaction.
