What Alex doesn’t know about chimneys and woodburners isn’t worth knowing. Today he swept out our chimney, cleaned and fixed up our Chesney stove, gave excellent user advice and left our fireplace and burner spotless!!! We can highly recommend him. The photos don’t even show the huge difference between my fire when I first moved in to now! Alex has done a sweep, service and refurb. I'm really pleased with the work Alex has done for us. We were advised there was a blockage in the chimney after a Gas safety check on the fire. We has actually ignored the warning signs of the fumes coming back into the room and cleaned away the darker marks from around the fire. Alex was very professional, polite, efficient and explained everything he was doing. He confirmed there was a blockage in the form of a large birds nest, to which he was able to remove. There was no mess after (I had been told by others that clearing a nest could be a messy job) but Alex made sure there was no mess to

Alex (and his dad) did a fantastic job replacing my old register plate with a metal one. They cleaned the bricks with acid wash, put in new fireproof cementboard and cleaned up the stove as well as brushing the chimney both front and back. They were really professional and explained everything in detail. Definitely would recommend them!
