Our day nursery care provides secure, stimulating environments for children aged 0-5 across two Oxford locations. Early Years Education Funding
We offer government-funded childcare places for eligible families, including 30-hour weekly allocations for children over 3 years old. Funding extends across 52 weeks annually, with flexible booking options and inclusive pricing covering all essential supplies and meals.
Outdoor Learning Programmes
Inspired by Danish forest schools, our outdoor classrooms promote experiential learning through gardening, nature exploration, and seasonal activities. Children grow vegetables, conduct nature studies, and develop motor skills in purpose-designed outdoor spaces at both nursery locations.
Parent Communication App
The Famly app provides real-time updates on children's daily activities, meals, and learning milestones. Parents receive photos, development observations, and care notes throughout the day, enabling seamless home-nursery collaboration and instant communication with staff.

What childcare funding options do you accept?
We accept government-funded hours including 30-hour weekly allocations for eligible families. Funding applies across 52 weeks annually with flexible booking options.
What are your operating hours?
We operate Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, 52 weeks a year excluding bank holidays and three annual training days.
What meals are provided?
We provide freshly prepared meals with a 4-week seasonal menu cycle. Dietary requirements are accommodated, and all food, nappies, and formula are included in fees.
How do you communicate with parents?
Daily updates are provided through the Famly app with photos, learning observations, and care notes. Staff also provide face-to-face updates during drop-off and collection.
What age groups do you cater for?
We care for children aged 0-8 years, with specific room allocations for Freshers (0-2), Sophomores (2-3), Scholars (3-5), and after-school care for up to age 8.
Are staff trained in first aid?

A wonderful nursery close to Summertown in Oxford. My son started here in January 2021 and simply adores it! The staff are wonderful and provide regular updates on his development. He is incredibly happy at the nursery and the space he has to play in the garden is amazing! I highly recommend the nursery for parents with babies and toddlers in the local Oxford area.

Both my kids have been attending the Oxford nursery in summer town for almost a year. They both seem really happy and I have total confidence in leaving them there. They are always greeted with big smiles and I love hearing them talking fondly about the adults. My eldest always calls his key worker 'beautiful' and my youngest chats about her keyworker the whole way home. I have looked at several other nurseries that are closer to our house but the Oxford nursery seems so much smaller and has more of a family feel than anywhere else I have visited. The management side of things seems really great

Our daughter started at the Nursery in Summertown in September (aged 9 months, 3 days p/w) and she is very happy and contended there. It took just a few days for her to settle - testament to the warmth and care of the staff that has been unceasing since. She has a great bond with her carers in the baby room and smiles with delight when she arrives… in the morning. We are so appreciative of the wide range of creative activities for the children, and the fact they spend so much time outside; our daughter is stimulated, encouraged, and nurtured, and we get great updates.
