Our award winning farm shop has been established since 1981 and is run by our family, alongside our mixed farm which is situated right behind the farm shop. Our family have farmed at Allington Bar Farm, near Chippenham, as tenants, for 3 generations and first opened Allington Farm Shop, in 1981, selling potatoes and eggs produced on the farm. The shop gradually expanded and began to become well known for its good quality meat and fresh fruit and vegetables.

Our family have farmed at Allington Bar Farm, near Chippenham, as tenants, for 3 generations. We farm approx. 700 acres at Allington Bar and in the local area, growing cereal crops, potatoes & grass and rearing Cattle, Pigs & Sheep. We rear mainly traditional British breeds, using less intensive farming methods, we believe that because these breeds are slower maturing the meat has more flavour.

Situated next door to the farm shop is Allington Garden Shop Selling a range of unusual shrubs, roses, perennials, herbs, vegetable plants, miscellaneous garden accessories and many original gardening gifts, from David Austin Roses, Flexi-Fie and Burgen and Ball amongst many others.
A wonderful chance to give your whole garden a make- over, with expert advise at hand, or just come along for a browse, and enjoy a coffee at the farm shop cafe next door.

Situated near Chippenham in Wiltshire, we have been tenant farmers here at Allington for 3 generations and our award winning, family run, farm shop has been established since 1981. Specialising in quality, home & locally produced food, our Farm Shop boasts a fantastic range including; fresh vegetables & fruit, an in house Butchery, a delicatessen counter as well as many locally produced store cupboard essential and speciality grocery items.
Butchery

Our in house butchery offers a wide range of meat & cuts. Almost all of the meat is reared on the farm using extensive farming methods. Our traditional British breeds are reared on grass & homegrown cereals. Traditional butchery methods are employed; by careful hanging on the bone and a high level of attention to preparation, the full flavour & tenderness of our meat is allowed to develop.
