Sale Dojo
Karate provides all of the good things that you would want for any child, a caring atmosphere in which to meet new friends, build self esteem, self confidence, self discipline, respect for themselves and others, a very enjoyable way to become flexible and keep fit. It exercises both body and mind and I know of no other sport that provides so much benefit to children and adults alike.

We focus on training our athletes up to best standards to compete in national & international competitions. We have a variety of instructors with different skill sets to suit different individuals. Most of our group training sessions are held in the evening, during the week. These sessions are split between different age groups to maximise the socialising between individuals whilst enjoying the sessions.

History
Report
Sale Karate Club was established in 1978 by Sensei Eric Tomlinson at Sale West Community Centre Manchester, a few years later it was taken over by Sensei Dave Wraxall. Since then it has grown from strength to strength. The club was originally established to 'give something back to the community' and this tradition has continued until today.

Report
Each one of us is different and there is more than one way of understanding our world. The Sale Dojo instructors manage to encompass this in their classes which encourages all its members. I love the role of Child Support Officer because of how members really do blossom within the karate community at the club.
