The Blue Dragon was established in 1989, and is the longest running tattoo studio in the city of Brighton. With the guidance of Mick J, we have become a multi award winning studio under the Blue Dragon banner, and have gained much respect for the quality of artwork that is synonymous with the name.
We have a fantastic set of resident artists that cater for a wide variety of styles and have regular guest artists from around the world. The Blue Dragon is fully licensed with Brighton and Hove City Council and practice a high standard of hygiene and sterilisation at all times. We adhere to stringent health and safety regulations, and give each client aftercare advice, both verbal and written.

Soon after finishing his degree in Illustration, Will approached Mick J of Blue Dragon after seeing the high standards of the Brighton tattoo studio's work. With his strong line work and eye catching colour composition, Will combines the strongest aesthetics from traditional Japanese, traditional Western and his own unique illustrative style.

He has been tattooing for over 20 years and in this time has been featured in many books, magazines and newspapers. Mick enjoys a painterly style of tattooing which he has developed over the years, and is a nod back to his successful career as an airbrush artist. His cockney charm and humour have earned him a loyal customer base, some having been with him from day one.

The very talented tattoo artist Liz is our newest member of the Blue Dragon tattoo studio team, and we are extremely happy she has joined us. She is an extremely gifted illustrator that brings a unique style to her tattooing and has proven very popular in the shop. Check out her portfolio and get something custom made just for you.
After-Care
Report
After 1 hour remove dressing and wash with warm soapy water (a hot shower is fine) and pat dry, then leave for 30 minutes. The cream we recommend for your tattoo is Bepanthen. We recommend reading the ingredients to make sure you are not allergic to anything it contains Apply a thin layer on your new tattoo after the 30 minute period when it has been washed.
