We carry essential tools and fixings to complete jobs efficiently during single visits. Clients can choose hourly rates or fixed pricing for transparent budgeting.
Plumbing Repairs
Emergency plumbing assistance and scheduled repairs cover leaks, pipe replacements, and system installations. Our qualified plumbers work weekdays at 75/hour (first hour) with 65 for additional hours. Larger projects like bathroom renovations receive free no-obligation quotes.
Electrical Services
Qualified electricians perform fault diagnostics, installations, and safety checks. Standard rates apply at 65/hour (first hour) with 60 for subsequent hours. We provide free quotations for complex projects while maintaining compliance with UK electrical safety standards.
Painting & Decorating
Professional painting services include surface preparation, colour consultation, and durable finishes for residential and commercial properties. Each job receives a custom quote after site assessment to ensure accurate cost estimation and material selection.
Carpentry Work
Skilled carpenters address door/window repairs, furniture restoration, and structural woodwork. We supply necessary materials at cost plus 20% VAT, with pricing determined through pre-job evaluations to guarantee transparency and quality craftsmanship.

What areas do you cover?
We serve Brighton, Hove, and surrounding Sussex areas including Lewes, Newhaven, and Shoreham-by-Sea. Some rural locations may incur mileage charges.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, BACS transfers, cash, and Apple Pay. Payments can be processed on-site via portable card machines or through emailed invoices.
Do you offer emergency services?
Unfortunately, we don't provide 24-hour emergency support. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with answerphone availability outside these times.
How are your prices structured?
We offer hourly rates or fixed pricing depending on job complexity. Small tasks start from £45 for half an hour, with larger projects receiving free no-obligation quotes.

We regularly use The Handy Team. Work is always completed quickly and efficiently. They have undertaken decorating, plumbing and electrical work for us and we have never had any complaints. Can highly recommend them
