Shaw Vets has been serving the community of Shaw for approximately 30 years, initially operating from modest premises on Market Street. Recognising the need for enhanced facilities, we relocated to a modern building on the same street to provide a full range of veterinary services to pets in Shaw and surrounding areas. While maintaining our longstanding partnership with Crown House Vets in Rochdale, our expanded capabilities now allow comprehensive diagnosis and treatment locally.Our team, featuring many familiar faces and a few new additions, remains committed to delivering the same compassionate care and professional attention that our clients have come to expect. Senior Vet Lyndsey Pass leads our practice in continuing this tradition of excellence.

Wellness Screenings
Our comprehensive wellness screenings detect early signs of kidney disease, diabetes, and other common conditions in adult pets. Using blood pressure monitoring, urine testing, and blood analysis, we identify potential health issues before they become serious. Annual screenings are recommended for cats over 7 years, dogs over 5 years, and giant breeds from 3 years.
Dental Care
We provide complete dental services including examinations, cleanings, and surgical extractions. Our dental X-ray equipment allows accurate diagnosis of tooth root issues and gum disease. Preventative care advice helps maintain oral health between professional treatments.
Orthopaedic Surgery

How does the Pet Health Club work?

What emergency services are available?

Absolutely fantastic! I changed from Animals Trust to Crown House Vets and I couldn't be happier! All the staff are lovely and thoughtful, prices are reasonable, there's always appointments available and somebody always answers the phone. I've been to the Shaw establishment and the Rochdale one and both are great couldn't fault anything! :) Thankyou
